In QuotedData’s morning briefing 31 July 2023:

  • RM Infrastructure Income (RMII) says that, since its last update on 10 July 2023, the board has received an additional [merger] proposal under s110 of the Insolvency Act 1986 which is under consideration alongside one other proposal highlighted in the 10 July 2023 announcement, however at this time there remains no certainty that either of the approaches received will develop into a recommendable transaction.
  • Triple Point Energy Transition (TENT) says that Virmati Energy (trading as Field), a battery storage counterparty, to whom the group committed a £45.6m debt facility in March 2022, has raised a £200m equity investment from DIF Capital Partners (via its DIF Infrastructure VII Fund). It feels that this investment will enable Field to significantly scale its fleet of battery storage assets, as well as enhance its in-house development and operational capabilities, thus improving its ability to deliver greater value as a part of TENT’s portfolio.
  • Bankers Investment Trust (BNKR) will repay its £15m 8% Debenture Stock 2023 on 31 October 2023, in accordance with the terms of the Trust Deed.
  • Schroder Oriental Smaller Companies (SST) has agreed with its AIFM to change the index against which its performance fee is based from the MSCI AC Asia (ex-Japan) Index to the MSCI AC Asia ex Japan Small Cap Index. This latter index is the one being used for the company’s recently introduced performance-related, conditional tender offer.
