In QuotedData’s morning briefing 17 June 2025: we see the return of the vowels at abrdn Equity Income, an investor presentation for Ecofin Global Utilities and Infrastructure, and confirmation that the bid for Harmony Energy Income is complete

  • abrdn Equity Income Trust (AEI) has changed its name to Aberdeen Equity Income Trust – the ticker remains the same. [This is the third time that the trust has had to change its name because of a rebranding exercise at Aberdeen. Hopefully, the manager is contributing to the expense of this.]
  • Ecofin Global Utilities and Infrastructure (EGL) will hold a live presentation at 11am on 10 July 2025, which will be open to all existing and potential shareholders. Questions can be submitted pre-event via your Investor Meet Company dashboard or at any time during the live presentation. Investors can sign up to Investor Meet Company for free via: https://www.investormeetcompany.com/ecofin-global-utilities-and-infrastructure-trust-plc/register-investor
  • Harmony Energy Income (HEIT) says the scheme has now become effective and the entire issued share capital of HEIT is now owned by Foresight BidCo. The acquisition has therefore now completed. Trading in HEIT’s shares is suspended this morning. You should get cash for your shares by 1 July 2025.
  • A prominent group of shareholder of Assura (AGR) have come out in support of the Primary Health Properties (PHP) part cash, part shares offer for the company (valuing its at 53.0p) over the recommended 52.1p all cash offer from private equity houses KKR and Stonepeak, the FT has reported. The group includes two of AGR’s top 10 shareholders – wealth manager Quilter Cheviot and investment firm Schroders, as well as Allianz Global Investors, Gravis, Baillie Gifford and Columbia Threadneedle. AGR’s board said yesterday that it would respond to PHP’s latest announcement (made last week) that included improved terms by the 27 June.
