Tungsten West (TUN), the Devon-based tin and tungsten miner that has helped power the 108% one-year performance of Baker Steel Resources (BSRT), jumped another 18% yesterday after the National Wealth Fund invested £36m for a 7% stake and provided £25m in debt. BSRT rose 2.8%.
Pantheon International (PIN), the £2bn private equity portfolio standing on a 25% discount, saw net asset value (NAV) slip 0.9% in July with NAV per share down 4.4p to 521.3p at 31 July. The decline was largely driven by currency movements with £27m of share buybacks partly offsetting this with a 2.4p per share gain.
