Overview

Ecofin US Renewables Infrastructure Trust intends to invest in a diversified portfolio of renewable assets predominantly in the United States, but it may also invest up to 15% of its gross assets in other OECD countries. Sectors eligible for investment will include renewable energy (solar, wind, battery storage, biomass, hydroelectric and microgrids), water and waste-water and related renewable assets sectors, with a predominant focus on solar and wind.

The company will seek to invest primarily through privately-negotiated middle market acquisitions of long-life renewable assets which are construction-ready, in-construction and/or currently in operation with long-term power purchase agreements or comparable contracts with investment-grade quality counterparties, including utilities, municipalities, universities, schools, hospitals, foundations, corporations and others.
