We are delighted to invite you to the abrdn Closed End Funds Property Seminar in London, which will take place over the morning of 21st of September.
With so much uncertainly in the listed property space, we are hosting this seminar to provide investors with an opportunity to hear from a variety of experts from across the abrdn Real Estate bsuiness. Our Real Estate investment specailist and memeber of the Real Estate investment specialist and members of the Real Estate Investment Research Team will give an ocerview of how abrdn is thinking about the sector. They will discuss the current market conditions, the key trends to watch, and the investment opportunities that are emerging. We will also be joined by the managers of our closed end property funds. They will provide updates on the specific funds they manage the opportunities they are seeing in the market, and why listed property funds still have a place in portfolios,

Will Fulton graduated from the University of Aberdeen in 1987 with a degree in Land Economy when he joined the company, becoming a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1990. Throughout his 30 year career he has held a variety of commercial real estate positions gaining multi-disciplinary experience spanning investment, valuation, asset management, debt facility management, development and investor relations both in the UK and across continental Europe. Prior to managing UKCM, he oversaw a team managing the £2.3 billion Standard Life Heritage With Profits Real Estate Fund.

Since 2019 Troels has been Fund Manager of abrdn’s multi-sector European Long Income Real Estate Fund, having successfully overseen its launch. Prior to this he was Fund Manager of abrdn’s Aberdeen Property Nordic I Fund, together with a further segregated value-add mandate. He was previously a member of abrdn´s Nordic and European Investment Committees, which approve all major decisions for investments in the region. Troels brings 25 years of real estate investment experience, including logistics asset transactions, together with knowledge of debt facility management, having spent the first part of his career working for German banks in both Germany and the UK.
