Denis Jackson was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2018, after joining Law Debenture in July 2017 as Chief Commercial Officer. Previously he was at Capita plc as director of new business enterprise, having been a director at Throgmorton UK Limited (which Capita acquired). Prior to that, he was regional general manager - Europe and the United States - for Tibra Trading Europe Limited, a FCA regulated proprietary trading company, which he joined from Citigroup (formerly Salomon Brothers). He had spent almost 20 years there in a variety of roles including in Treasury (both in New York and London), as Head of the Finance Desk in Hong Kong, Head of Fixed Income Prime Brokerage in New York and ultimately, Head of EMEA Prime Brokerage Sales.

James Henderson is the the joint portfolio manager. He first became involved in the management of Law Debenture’s portfolio in 1994 and took over sole management of the portfolio in June 2003. He was assisted by Laura Foll from 2011 until August 2019, when Laura became joint manager.
He joined Henderson in 1983 and has been an investment trust portfolio manager since 1990, managing Lowland Investment Company plc since then and Henderson Opportunities Trust plc since January 2007. He also manages the Janus Henderson UK Equity and Growth Fund.
