Standard Life Investment Property Income has announced its results for the year ended 31 December 2013. Over the year the fund generated a net asset value total return of 25.2%. The share price increased by 20.2%, equivalent to a total return of 29.2%. The dividend was unchanged on the previous year but the yield at the end of the year was 6.5%.
The company is currently an offshore investment company but the Board has decided it makes sense to convert it to a UK REIT and will put proposals to shareholders later in the year to that effect.
