One year extension for BECAP Fund- Better Capital (BCAP) has announced that it has consented to an extension of BECAP Fund (the 2009 fund) of one further year to 17 December 2019.
The board considers that a further extension to the 2009 fund will help to provide an appropriate time frame in which the general partner of the 2009 Fund can maximise returns through the realisation of the residual assets in the portfolio. The board intends to continue the distribution of net realised capital to shareholders on a cost effective and timely basis.
Better Capital (formally known as Better Capital PCC Limited) aims to generate attractive total returns from investing (through BECAP Fund LP) in a portfolio of distressed businesses, such returns being expected to be largely from capital growth.
