In today’s show, James discussed the merits of the bid for abrdn Property Income, It has since come to light that the NAV that Morningstar is supplying on abrdn Property Income is incorrect. That changes some of the figures that James referred to. The NAV at end December 2023 was 78.4p. The transfer of value from API shareholders to CREI shareholders is £10.5m. Selling the portfolio at NAV would give shareholders an upside of 43%. Selling the portfolio at a 20% discount would give an upside of 14.5%. His conclusion still stands.
