Description

The Association of Investment Companies (AIC) will hold the next Investment Company Showcase on Friday 10 October, at 133 Houndsditch near London’s Liverpool Street station.

The Showcase is free to attend with the use of promotional code SHOW25 and places can be reserved here.

The Showcase, now in its fourth year, provides new and existing investors with a unique opportunity to hear from 30 investment trust managers. The speakers will present and take part in moderated panel discussions covering investment opportunities from the US to China, and from high income strategies to private equity.

Open to all, the event can be attended in person or online. Presentations and panels will be held in three separate conference rooms, and attendees can select the sessions that interest them the most. There will also be an exhibition space where attendees can chat to investment trust managers.

For those not able to get to London, the Showcase will be streamed live online, providing an opportunity to watch and ask questions remotely.

Nick Train, Manager of Finsbury Growth & Income Trust, will deliver the keynote presentation and explain why he believes the UK market represents a once in a generation opportunity.

The Showcase will cover a diverse range of topics from the impact of Trump’s tariffs to investing for a high income in bonds, how to access infrastructure and what it will take for UK smaller companies to make a big comeback.

As well as the full line up of speaker sessions, attendees have an opportunity to meet and chat with a range of exhibitors, including representatives from fund management groups.
