We would like to thank you for all your support over the last year and invite you to a Christmas breakfast briefing and networking event at Browns, Old Jewry, London, EC2R 8DN.
Over breakfast you will hear short presentations from Pruksa Iamthongthong – Co-manager Asia Dragon Trust, Samantha Fitzpatrick – Co-manager Murray International Trust, Iain Pyle – Manager Shires Income Trust, which will cover their respective strategies and their thoughts on the outlook for 2024.
This will be followed an opportunity for networking and conversation with the Portfolio Managers.

Samantha is an Investment Director on the Global Equity Team at abrdn. Samantha joined the company in 2001 via the acquisition of Murray Johnstone where she was a Performance and Risk Analyst. Samantha has been involved in the management of global equity portfolios for the last fifteen years. She has a BSC (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the University of Strathclyde and is a CFA Charter holder. - Iain Pyle

Iain has been an Investment Director in the UK & European equities team at abrdn since 2015. He is the lead manager of Shires Income PLC and is deputy manager of Murray Income Trust PLC and abrdn Equity Income Trust plc. Within his role, he manages the UK Equity High Income Fund amongst other funds and has sector responsibility for energy and banks. Iain has been covering analyst for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining the company, Iain was a Vice President on the number one ranked European Oil & Gas research team at Sanford Bernstein from 2007. He also worked as a management consultant at PwC. Iain holds an MSc in Operational Research, a Masters in Chemical Engineering, is a CFA charterholder and is a qualified accountant.
