Paul Bridge, Civitas Social Housing REIT

Paul is the Chief Executive Officer of the Investment advisor. Paul has worked in all aspects of Social Housing for over 20 years and is a senior industry figure. From 2008 to 2014, Paul was Chief Executive of Homes for Haringey, a Registered Provider, where he was responsible for 800 staff and 21,000 homes. The organisation was awarded ‘Housing Organisation of the Year’ in 2012 and gained Investors in People Gold. For eight years prior to this, Paul was a Director at Hyde Group, a major G15 Housing Association, which provides homes and services to more than 95,000 customers. Throughout his career, Paul has been responsible for leading the acquisition of several thousand properties in London and the South East, with the primary purpose of extensive physical, social and economic regeneration. Paul has been responsible for investing several hundred million pounds into Social Homes. During his career, Paul has also held a variety of non-executive roles in and out of the sector and the Chairman of Thames Valley Charitable Housing Association which established a successful private rental sector business funded by equity and debt through various institutional investment funds.

Ben Fry, Residential Secure Income

Ben Fry is Head of Housing Investment at Gresham House and a director of the two Registered Providers of Social Housing it manages, ReSI Homes Limited and ReSI Housing Limited. He joined the firm in March 2020 following the acquisition of TradeRisks where he was Managing Director and Investment Manager for its fund management division ReSI Capital Management. Ben has 15 years’ industry experience, with 9 years social housing experience since joining TradeRisks in 2011. Ben has led the investment management for fund Residential Secure Income plc since IPO in July 2017, prior to which he led TradeRisks’ debt advisory services for housing associations, local authorities, and specialist residential accommodation.

Freddie Cowper-Coles, TriplePoint Social Housing REIT

Freddie joined Triple Point’s investment team in September 2015 after qualifying as a solicitor at Mishcon de Reya. He has degrees in History from the University of Edinburgh and King’s College, London, and holds the Investment Management Certificate and the Corporate Finance Certificate.

Jeremy Rogers and Andy Howard, Schroder BSC Social Impact Trust

Jeremy runs the team that invests and manages our portfolio. He is passionate about finding sustainable ways to tackle social challenges and using them to improve peoples lives. Since he joined in 2013, Big Society Capital has helped establish over £2 billion of social impact investment vehicles supporting over 1,200 charities and social enterprises so far. Jeremy has over 20 years of experience in the charitable and investment sectors, with over 12 years in impact investing. Jeremy set up and ran JP Morgan’s European High Yield Trading group, growing it to become the market leader. He then became a Partner at Praxient Capital, a multi-asset investment fund. Jeremy has held multiple voluntary and non-executive roles at charities and social enterprises including the Princes Trust, Ashoka, Big Issue Invest and Pilotlight.

Andy is the Head of Sustainable Research at Schroders Investment Management. In that role, Andy is responsible for strengthening Schroder’s analysis of key sustainability trends and their implications for investors. Previously, Andy founded Didas Research, an independent research firm focused on providing long term and sustainable investment advice.  He also spent six years with Goldman Sachs, where he was a Managing Director and responsible for building the GS SUSTAIN global research product. Andy has also worked with McKinsey in New York where he advised financial institutions and was involved in the firm’s Business in Society work, with development focused NGO Global Witness a and as a mining analyst with Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Deutsche Bank, where he was twice voted Europe’s leading analyst in the sector.
