Amedeo Air Four plans cash distribution and restores dividends

Amedeo Air Four Plus AA4

Amedeo Air Four plans cash distribution and restores dividends – Amedeo Air Four Plus says that the £30m it held onto – to provide some financial flexibility – following the sale of two planes last September is no longer needed. It now plans to hand this back to shareholders. At the same time, the board feels confident enough to reinstate quarterly dividends from Q1 2022. We don’t know yet how much these will be.

The £30m will be handed back through a compulsory redemption of shares on 8 December 2021. The company will redeem one share for every five existing shares held on the register as at close of business on the record date (7 December 2021), resulting in the redemption of approximately 86,828,351 shares. The redemption will be effected at 34.55p per share. No fractions of shares will be redeemed.

Separately, Amedeo says that the lease restructurings with Thai Airways, in respect of four A350-900 aircraft, are proceeding satisfactorily. The company will issue an update when the restructurings are finalised.
