In QuotedData’s morning briefing 3 February 2023:

  • Schroder REIT (SREI) reported a 17.1% fall in NAV to 62.0p for the quarter to 31 December 2022. The impact of higher interest rates on the property sector saw the value of its portfolio drop 11.8% to £470.3m. Dividends paid during the quarter of 0.803p per share was 105% covered by recurring earnings. The execution of asset management initiatives underpinned a 2% increase in the dividend to 0.819p for the quarter to 31 December 2022, payable on 31 March 2023. On an annualised basis, the new level of dividend represents a yield of 6.9% on the 2 February closing share price of 47.65p. The company’s net loan to value was 35.4%, with an average interest cost of 2.8%, an average loan duration of 11.0 years and no debt maturities until 2027.
  • Yellow cake (YCA) has announced that announced the results of its placing. 15m new ordinary shares have been placed with existing and new institutional investors at a fixed price of £4.12 per share via an accelerated bookbuild process. YCA says that, due to strong investor demand, it agreed with the Joint Bookrunners to increase the size of the placing to approximately US$75m from the approximately US$50m that was originally originally proposed.
  • EPE Special Opportunities (ESO) has announced that it has paid interest due to holders of unsecured loan notes of £0.0375 per note with a record date of 06 January 2023.
