Rights and Issues Investment Trust aims to exceed the FTSE All Share total return over the long term while managing risk. It invests in equities with an emphasis on small and mid companies. UK smaller companies include both listed securities and those admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
Rights and Issues Investment Trust was, until June 2016, a split capital investment trust with two classes of share – income (RIII) and capital (RIIC). On 6 June 2016, the capital shares were amalgamated with the income shares.
