Overview
The Global Smaller Companies Trust (formerly BMO Global Smaller Companies : BGSC and before that F&C Global Smaller Companies : FCS) says it seeks to exploit the high investment potential of smaller companies listed on global equity markets. It believes that as many smaller companies are not widely researched, this opens up the potential for detailed fundamental analysis to identify valuation anomalies. They also say that the greater inherent ability of smaller enterprises to grow faster than more mature, larger companies, is also positive for the long term outlook.
